Refund & Cancellation Policy

Custom software is built to order, so this policy is tied to our milestone payment model. It is written to be fair and unambiguous.

1. Who handles refunds

Refunds are issued by Bowshy (the merchant), not by Razorpay. Razorpay is only our payment processor. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, in Indian Rupees (INR).

2. How our billing works

Engagements are billed on 40 / 40 / 20 milestones — an advance to commence work, a payment on beta delivery, and a final payment on go-live. The advance reserves our time and funds the discovery and early build, so refund eligibility depends on the stage reached.

3. Cancellation before work begins

If you cancel before any work has started, the advance is refunded in full, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (for example paid licences or hosting).

4. Cancellation after work has started

  • Work completed and delivered up to the cancellation date is non-refundable, as it is custom-built for you.
  • Amounts paid for milestones not yet started are refunded.
  • For a milestone in progress, we refund the unworked portion on a pro-rata basis.

5. Non-delivery

If we fail to deliver an agreed milestone and cannot remedy it within a reasonable period, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that undelivered milestone.

6. Refund timeline

Once a refund is approved, it is processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. The time for the amount to appear depends on your bank or UPI provider.

7. How to request a refund

Email gowtham@privosa.com with your project name and payment reference, or contact our Grievance Officer (see the Contact page). We acknowledge every request and respond within one business day.
